I liked this. It was well written. And i liked the parallel drawn between the scooby meeting and the banquet with Giles/The King making his daughter keep her promise. Although please tell me you intend to write a continuation of this. The Frog Prince I remember from childhood actually had a happy ending (god knows how the original version went), and right now you've got Buffy looking like a total welsher with no honor. It's not a good look for her.

Leave it to Buffy ... {chuckles} She gets mad and throws the orb up on the roof. Silly girl. Then she expects Spike to go fetch it like a dog. Then, poor Spike doesn't even get a doggie treat for it. {rolls her eyes} Liked the rewrites of the episodes to add Spike into key points with him being bored, etc.

Nice retelling of the story, you did a very good job of keeping Buffy’s actions in sync with cannon. I loved Giles’ comment to her about keeping her word. It’s funny, if Spike ever truly gave his word on something he kept it, unlike the core Scoobies who all broke promises at different times. Thanks for the fic.

What a different way for Spike to find out that he loved Buffy. I was really dissapointed with the way Buffy treated him but it was true to how she did treat him in the show! Good story, can't wait to see what you come up with next!

It's a wonder that Spike's nose wasn't completely flat she hit it so many times.

um, uh, That's all there is? It can't be over already? LOL. Love it. Poor Spike. Mean Buffy.
Sorry. When I signed up for the challenge I promised myself it wouldn't end up being yet another WIP so I chose to retell a fairytale. The fairy tale's been covered (with Spike realizing he loves Buffy as a parallel to the frog becoming a man) so there's nothing left to tell. On the bright side, I'm working on my two WIPs again.
