| Penny is so... perfect. I loved Willow's apology to Spike, Buffy's realization that she knew that demons could love, her realization that Riley (is a jerk) doesn't like her friends, and Penny's point of how monsterous Riley can be. This story is so great. |

| Damn! I am really liking this Penny woman! I am glad that she seems to be getting thru to the guys that Angel/Angelus really warped their thinking and that they were wrong about the soul vs. unsouled deal. I also like how she got them to think that she was talking about Angelus when she was talking about Riley! Buffy did have some really bad taste in guys and look one more thing that they have in common! Will Penny drop the bomb about the Vamp whores too? Or is it too early for that? |

| Love this story. I have always thought that blind devotion to Angel was disgusting! And the whole,"That wasn't me...it was Angelus" thing was a crock! I made some of these exact points in one of my own stories. Penny is just more blunt, I guess. And, I do so love her for it! Keep up the good work. And don't worry so much about the MS factor, I LOVE PENNY! |

Mate I love this fic, the way you have taken the story of Buffy TVS and put forward a case as to why allot of fans dislike Riley and Angel, yet the writers themselves don't seem to have picked up on it.
That part where you pointed out how Vampires cannot be classed Evil just because they killed humans to feed, I myself have the same view, We humans kill allot more animals than Vampires do, Cows, Chickens, fish, duck, heck we also have a few canibals on this planet yet we don't classs them as evil. In my opinion you are not evil for eating something you require to survive but your actions, (if you take into consideration Vampires need blood to survive and humans can survive on fruit and veg yet we still eat meat, that would make us more evil than Vampires right?) i.e torture, causing unneccesary pain and feeling no remorse.
I love how you making both Angel and Riley look bad, Seriously how can anyone not find a 240 year old being love with a 15 year old disturbing? If Angel looked his age we'd all be grossed out no doubt, (but then we could say the same for Spike I guess, but he is half Angel's Age and he fell in love After knowing the girl and she was legal.)
God and Riley, talk about boring and racist. Seriously how could anyone who'se job was a secret government operative demon hunter be so dull?

True,some cultures in the mid-east do believe that erroneous premise. However, your character is from Australia and to state that Australia or the rest of the world believes that is incorrect. Please ask any woman who has been raped.
This really is a good story, just this one area prepetrates an untruth. Would you really want to continue this untruth? What if, heaven prevent, someone you know would ever get attached? Would you believe they had a choice?
I'm sorry you think I'm attacking you personally, because I'm not. I've enjoyed your stories before and hope to continue to do so in the future, but to see that is very surprising and disconcerting.

Maybe you could clarify the statement about rape in your story, with the condemnation it needs and to add how wrong those assumptions are? Also, along with women, children (and men) are raped.

Actually had you read what I said in context, you would have understood that Penny was pointing out the differences between cultural beliefs. She was not commenting on whether the attitude was right or wrong, she was simply stating the existence of that particular belief in some cultures.
As an Australian woman I am well aware of the fact that a woman does not ask to be raped and at no point in my story do I suggest otherwise. Perhaps this will help you understand my point; I wrote -
“Some cultures believe that if a woman allows herself to be raped it is well within her family’s rights to stone her to death, for bringing the family shame.”
Please note the clearly written words at the beginning of the sentence… ‘Some cultures believe’…It does not say Australians believe, or women believe, or I believe…it says some cultures believe, and the fact of the matter is, that some cultures actually hold this disgusting belief. The rest of the sentence relates to the start of the sentence. It is not an ‘untruth’ to them.
I also wrote: “There are even human cultures that believe that a male child’s first sexual experience should be given to them by an adult, so the child’s first sexual experience is to be sodomised.”
The thought of this belief horrifies me…but that doesn’t change the cold hard fact that that particular tribe follows that tradition.

| This story just gets better and better. Great explanation of Angel's behavior. I always thought that in the show he never really helped Buffy fight demons. He rarely ever fought demons only if he was forced to. Hopefully we will see the end of Riley soon. I am glad that you have portrayed Buffy in this chapter as someone who can at least look back at things that have happened with some insight. Please update soon this is a great story. |

| Oh this is good. And so canonical. I can think of no other plausible scenario than Riley carrying a torture stake 24/7. Any other explanation for Riley's having it later on, and several have been tried, just doesn't gel. A kudos to you. |
