| Dru captured Spike, Buffy kicked Angel out of his place, and Xander has somewhat convinced Giles to give vamp!Jesse a chance. Wonderful chapter Megan. I'm glad I feel behind because it means I've got a few chapters to savour! |

finished both 15 & 16 -- amazing chapters. in 15, I loved how you had Spike flashback to siring his mother and the inner conflict within Spike was heart-rending.
I'm very intrigued with how you are writing Xander, and I'll "dying" - sorry bad punage" to find out what this Jesse will be like. Gives great argument for the "nature vs. nuture" -- will Jesse's nature be different now that the "nuturing" of Darla & the Master are no longer an issue? |

I can't help but hope that Xander's desires are answered and Jesse can be a "good" vamp with Spike's help. So much of their acceptance of Spike's struggle would ride on proof that a soulless vampire could chose good.
Excellent update. Can't wait for Buffy to rescue Spike and do some serious damage to the core of evil there.

| Poor, poor Spike to be going through what he is without any hope but death. But I love how even with what he is going through he has managed to find serenity because of Buffy. And Xander and Buffy and the guilt they are both feeling, it all added up to a great chapter. |

| EEEK! Will Buffy find Spike soon enough or will loony Dru give up her sadistic game before Spike is all the way dead? I don't give a rat's - about Jesse, just worried about Spike and his foolishness. More story please. |
