I always wondered about that myself!! I mean it obviously did worlds of good to Buffy and kept her save for the rest of her life.... wait no, she faced off against a hellgod, without Angel even offering to help her, and died..... human Angel could have accomplished that, but who am I to argue with the allknowing TDF
I loved the Giles/Spike/Xander bonding over mocking and tormenting Angel

Penny is my new hero! I love how she laid it all out on the line without any bullshit and called it like it was! I can't wait to see how Angel deals with all the revelations and if Buffy kicks his tail or not! Then again, maybe it will be Cordy, she is much closer, lol.
I about fell out of my seat myself with the antics of Giles, Xander and Spike! You write them so well and I can just see the 3 of them acting just like that! Oh please update soon! |

| Great chapter. Great Angel bashing. In your story Angel's motives are purely selfish. I was watching an episode of Angel the other day and it appeared to me that every thing Angel did was so that he received credit for it. I wish there had been an episode in BTVS that had been written like this. |

Angel is in sooo much trouble, maybe Buffy should go over to LA beat the snot out of him, he had her mind altered that is belived by many to be a form of mind rape, (It's things like this why so many people dislike Angel/Buffy pairing.)
Stupid excuse that was anyway how can you claim to protect someone who is stronger, faster and smarter than you from a hundred miles away? someone who doesn't need protecting in the first place, who according to Spike needs a reason to live so they can protect themselves...wanker.
YEAH I was right about the moment of happiness part...lousy peodophile should not be allowed near kids, if he comes to SunnyD make sure he stays away from Dawn *shudders*...lol amazing how something that was perfectly acceptable in the show can be made to sound so dirty and wrong isn't it? I guess it's all about the angle you look at it.
I personally vote for the *snip* *Snip* ;) just so he can't reproduce even if he did become human

Uh, one thing...Cordy knows about that day. Angel told Doyle, and Doyle told Cordy.
So, Spike's going to seek his soul even without the event that happened in SR? If Riley leaves, and Buffy doesn't die because Penny is there to help, then their whole destructive affair won't take place. They have the chance to start a healthy relationship, if Buffy can grasp internally how Spike is a different kind of vampire. Isn't it more important that he has her acceptance without the soul? |

Excellent question, Penny! I always wondered about that one myself.
Wesley's question makes sense. The reason Wesley believed in the fake prophecy is because he credited Angel with more depth than Angel is capable of.After all, most new parents who thought they would never be able to have a child would get a moment of perfect happiness from thier child's first smile, thier first word, when thjey learn to walk.
Good idea Bobbiting Angel. I thought it would have been better to have Angel have excruitating genital pain instead of losing his soul over a moment of happiness. That would definitely knock the happy right out of him. |
