***One of the nurses behind the counter harrumphed at her even before the petite, golden-haired woman reached the counter. "I wonder how many animals died so that..."
"I don't know," The small woman’s teary eyes suddenly turned as hard as emeralds. "But next time my kids get cold I could wrap them in fat bitches’ hide?" While her voice sounded hard as steel, her words seemed almost hesitant as if hadn't spoken English in a long time. "Of course, the tanner would have to be very good to get that stench out of it."

| WooHoo!! I am guessing Joyce, Giles and the Scoobies will be OK since Angelus got his soul back. However, the Loony is still there and soul or not, Angelus is a shithead. This is a great beginning and I am begging for more soon. |

I love this...the change from canon to Joyces character is really exciting. She was one of my favorites and it's really great to see her handle that situation in a better way. I can't wait to see what comes next!
