| Now that Buffy understands her origins, maybe she can understand her attraction to Angel and Spike. This is going to be interesting to see exactly what powers she has yet to tap into. How wonderful to give William peace of mind regarding his mother. He can help Joyce? Just love it! You're quite a web-weaver Jacks. Great read. |

Whoa...the trials for Joyce? Didn't see that coming, but yeah, he wouldn't hesitate one bit on that subject. Much with the ouchie.
Buffy's going to have a while before she falls asleep, I'm sure. Lots to think about. And Penny is so right about how denying her power makes her weak. She could and should have been so much more as a warrior. |

| I was bored and decided to start reading a new fic to help with that little problem. I'm glad I chose yours. You really got me hooked. Amazing original character, interesting story. I'm really enjoying it, in case I didn't make it clear with my other reviews ;) I especially loved the ending of this chapter. How she comforted Spike about his choices with his mom and gave him a solution to help Joyce. I'm disappointed that I don't have more chapters of this great story to read right now. I'm hoping for an update soon. Great job! |

hmmmm....my (almost) daily dose of penny and everything is well
I really liked that Penny was able to pass Spike a message from his mother to give him some much needed closure
and Spike is gonna save Joyce

Ahhh the trials that have been mentioned in so many fics yet I have never actually seen take place, besides what was the point of an episode of someone going through a bunch of trials and then telling them 'sorry can't help her, thank you for visiting and do come again' never made any sense to me.
So let me get this straight Spike has to take these trials for Joyce and then he has to go to Thingamejib...sorry Africa to take the trials to regain his soul? Bloody hell hope he's got a full tank of Petrol, he's going to need it I think.
Hehee Buffy got all jealous, wonder if she followed at a safe distance and spied on them, she's probably in her bedroom right now with a pair of binoculars spying on them, lol...well wishful thinking on my part anyway..lol
So if the Slayer is a normal girl who's merged with the vampire demon soul? if somebody were to jump start Spikes heart, would it mean that he'd be a like a Male slayer as his human self has already merged with his Vampire self? Well it's a thought anyway.

| Okay, this chapter ended with my crying. I love how Penny was able to help Spike with his conflict about what happened with his mother. And his willingness to do anything for Joyce, that is one of the many things that make Spike so loveable. It is so great that someone finally pointed out to Buffy that she will never find happiness in normal. On the show Spike tried to tell her, but of course his telling was all sorts of mixed up. It’s nice that Penny is there to help her find the balance that she needs to truly be at peace with herself. |

| Great way to deactivate the trigger the First would use on him . And it makes sense that the Trials would work for Joyce when they wouldn't work for Darla since Joyce isn't on her second chance. |
