| OMG!!!Buffy's a real slut puppy isn't she? and she thinks that...what? Angelus is going to be a good boy and play nice? No! Angelus never had any humanity in him...EVER!!! Please don't try and make him something that he never was! Nice, considerate or understanding!!! Still a good story though. Thanks for the challenge. |
| I am trying for a little ambiguity, for Buffy's sake, I think she needs to see him that way. Doesn't mean that is's true. But there is some conflict w/i Angelus. I just don't buy that there is no crossover between Angel/Angelus while Spike remains nearly the same w or w/o soul. |

| Thanks, I wanted to call into question the early canon assumption that vampire = beast. This is only the beginning of Angelus' scheming nature - you have to admit, his plans usually work out better than Spike's because he is more deliberate and less impetuous. |

| Thanks. I think many are having trouble getting thru the Bangel. But the challenge did ask for A/s/B, and I couldn't really see how to do that - esp in season 2, without the A/B first. |

| We'll see Spike for the first time in the chapter after next, but it doesn't turn Spuffy yet - or easily. Remember he is still wheelchair bound. |

| At this point, Buffy is pretty young and gullible. She believes everything Giles tells her, and a lot of what Angelus says too. Of course the only one who only tells her the truth is Spike. |
