I love the fact that Xander is the first one who spoke up to support having the chip removed. And I'm glad that you had it removed. I must admit I like the chipless Spike better because it more clearly shows that it was his conscious (hehehe) decision to change.
Curious as to what is going to make him want to get a soul since he's probably not going to be attemting to rape Buffy in this dimension.

| Excellent! Spike made it a group decision. I forgot about Glory, guess that settles that, for now. And Riley, we know that he wont give up that easily. Now for Angel. This is so much fun, I'm glad that I'm behind so I can keep reading this fantatsic story. |

Hmm...talk about as predictable as a smelly fart in a crowded room, you just know it's going to happen no matter how much you wish it didn't...lol
Stupid Riley, obviously he was only in University because it was a cover, he does not seem to have the brain capacity to be in Uni, specially and a TA for a Phychology class, need advance analysis for that one. I wonder how the will work out now? Will Glory still think it's Penny who is the key like planned or is Dawn suddenly in danger?
Good thinking from Spike, making the whole group decide so they would still trust him after the chip, because they think it's their decision so if he goes on a killing spree it's the scoobies fault.
Well this was my 4th attempt at writing a reply, yesterday got as fas as the first line and got called away and never finished it. make that 5th, bloody thing gave me 'page cannot be displayed error' good thing I copied before hand.

I loved how Xander got upset with Buffy when he thought that she had decided not to remove the chip, and that they all agreed that it needed to be gone. Loved how Spike tested it also.  Also love that Riley doesn't know that it is gone. Penny's meeting with Glory was great, and the research party so that Spike can have the choice is perfect, I love that it all comes down to personal decisions. Thanks for the great chapter. |

Okay, so Dawn isn't the Key in this one? Did I forget that, or somehow miss it?
Spike get his soul NOW? Kinda early...thing is, with people encouraging good choices, he doesn't even need it. He already knows the difference between right and wrong. It's just all about the choices.
'Cause getting the soul? Not easy, during or after. He's going to be a mess from the sudden guilt over all his victims even without the First possibly using him. Though, the First won't have its power window now that Buffy's not dying and being brought back. That's what created the imbalance in the first place. |
