| I am still not getting this story I guess. I like it very much, and I am sure that you are MEANING to write Buffy and Spike a bit out of character, but it is hard for me to grasp. I can't wait to read about the talk that Buffy is going to have with Anya. I am sure it will clear alot of stuff up for us readers! |

I like the idea that Buffy is perhaps not totally in control of her actions. Spike's evil behavior is often attributed to the demon that lives inside him, and it looks like maybe Buffy has someone else residing in her as well.
I too hope that the blatant Spike torture doesn't go on too long, though. I tend to like it more when the chapters flip flop the upper had in the struggle. |

| Oh my oh my. I shouldnt' be allowed to read such things first thing in the morning. That was wonderful. I've gotta admit that I love dominated Spike, but at the same time I can't wait until they realize that she's his, too. Should be just as fun. |

Holy moly. That was pretty strong and involved. She has definitely found her inner Mistress Bitch Buffy.
I hope that Anya sets Buffy straight on just what kind of claim she did. Cause I'd love to see Spike get back some of his own here. That kind of play is all fun if it is truly what both want, but Spike wants Buffy to understand what its like on his side too. She isn't just the first under his feet.

| I sort of understand why these chapters were necessary but I hope that Spike comes back to being his own person or that Buffy realizes that this is not a dominance claim. I don't think I like Buffy being a mean dominatrix and Spike not having a spine. |

WOW you out bitca'd the canon LOL. Buffy deserves some serious payback for torturing our boy. Much as I love the image of him in chains and love H/C fic I can't imagine having him in my power and wasting the time hurting him *G*, at least not REAL pain.
Love the story. Interested to see the effect on Buffy and wish she'd just be his too. sigh........ungrateful Slayer.

| I really loved this chapter and I thought that Buffy’s fear of herself when she realized some of what she had done the night before was great. I really hope that Anya can help her understand better what is really going on. I found Spike’s thought of how this claim of Buffy’s most resembled the type of claim his sire has over him and not a dominance claim interesting. I am really looking forward the exploration of the questions that some of the thoughts in this chapter raised and the also finding more out about the primal part of herself that Buffy has unwittingly tapped into and that something in Spike recognized with ‘a sense of dread and terror’. I am really looking forward to the next update. |

That was...revolting. Wait - I'm not meaning it as a flame, but how she was acting...okay, Spike's smarter than this. Spike's the kind of guy who would have read anything, talked to anyone, to learn his vampire heritage. Especially knowing how Angelus operated, and what a lying controlling bastard he was. Spike's the kind of guy to seek out the truth on his own. He doesn't go for bullcrap.
Yes, you had him figuring out some things here, but...I'm just really tired of seeing his power taken away all the time. He deserves better. He is better.
I hope Anya will straighten the BOTH of them out on this claim, because I'm this close to wanting some major pain to happen to Buffy. She's disgusting, and she only starts to think about it in the light of morning? Ugh. |
| i agree about Buffy's behavior... though some of the reason for it will be revealed in time... Anya will help them understand quite a bit of it, and in time things will change...but buffy's behavior was intended to be a bit on the disturbing side |
