This is one of the best stories I have read. I am sorry to see it end. Even at this point you've drawn me in to what happens a hundred years leter without the scooby gang.
I can't wait for the sequel! |

I loved this fic! You probably hear this all the time, but I think it's one of the best ones I've ever read Loved the references to Sandman [which is my new favorite comicbook...]
Keep up the GREAT work! |

Hmm how long will Spike be bound to this duty of his? I mean the planet will be destroyed eventually when the sun dies but before that things that are not demon related will probably kill of any humans left (asteroids most likely) but if the human race hasn't killed of itself in 100-200 years I'm guessing that we will have intersolar travel going on and might be able to defend ourselves from space stuff hitting the planet. Ofcourse before that happens we will probably have killed of this planet with our polution and such so in reality I doubt that he would have to stay on this earth that long but I think that the human race would survive and find other places to screw up so would he have to follow and still help or is he bound to the planet or the human race?
I saw this documentary on global warming. Once the ice on greenland melts that's apparantly the point of no return and they predict that to happen in 20 years if things progress the way they do now. The real kicker is that when the arctic ice caps melt they think that a lot of methan gas will be released and then burn making this planet as hot as it was a few million years ago. Literally turning it into hell on earth. With the knowledge that the human race is all about greed and the next quarterly report I think it's a safe bet to say that Spike won't have to be on this planet that much longer.
In the sequel I hope to see some sort of Faith - Spike friendship/mentor thing developing. I like that he gave her the chance to go to the clevland hellmouth but also feel that it felt like he just threw her to the wolves and not really caring about her. I think he should show that she is just as important as anybody else, give her a self esteem booster or something like that. |

| love the tale. awaiting (eagerly) the sequel. the challenge sounds promising, maybe you should salt it away. when the time presents itself, then it could be written by the one who could do it best. thanks for the fine read. |

| If there wasn't a going to be a sequel, I'd be extremely upset. At least I have that to look forward to. Loved the story. |

| all good things come to an end! now i need to find the person who said that and killen him/her. waiting for the sequels. feel really sorry for Spike cos after u have lived long enough death is a gift, something no one should be denied. |

Thank you again for this story. That's pretty sad that Spike has to continue to unlive and help new Slayers for as long as the earth is here.
I look forward to anything you write. |

| I thought the epilogue was beautiful, as was the entire story. I cannot wait for the sequel. I would also be interested in a Spike thru the ages. |

| Loved this story, hate to see it end, but delighted that you have a sequel planned. I really like the way you show just a bit of Spike's future, knowing that we now see how he will handle things for a long time. He's so resilient; I love that about him and you've done a great job of showing that part of his heart. Thank you! |

| NOW that was just a way to end it all. I just feel so bad for Spike for having his "Family" all now gone but he has a job to do and he will complete it with flying colors. I just feel so bad for Emily but I am glad that Spike was there. Great great great story. Can't wait to see what else you have in the works. IT all sounds so interesting. |

Beautiful ending I must say. Loved this story from start to finish, can't wait to read the sequel.
As for your other story you had in mind, sounds fun and interesting. It sounds a little like "Dark Paladin" that's being posted here, not really the same but close really. Your story sounds maybe a bit more epic.
So in the third installment of "this is the way the world ends" (the sequels sequel if you will) will we get to meet this slayer of the epilouge more or will it be even further into the future? 13 years old and left to die by her watcher that was harsh. |
