| Still still laughing from Buffy's comment to her mom about Giles. That a way Joyce, stick it to the ponce. He's so arrogant and for him to try that Sire crap on him was down right low. So glad you had Spike struggling his demon into not responding, he is stronger then that. Great chappie. |

I loved everyone's reaction when Angel told Buffy she wasn't serious about him not coming to Sunnydell. And Buffy picking Spike and admitting that he was the one she always wanted was totally unexpected, and so cool. I think and hope that Angel pays for trying to humiliate Spike, thank goodness Spike controls his demon far more then Angel, even with a soul, could ever imagine. Thanks for the great chapter.

See that's another problem with Angel, he keeps on forgetting Spike is 120 year old Vamp not the 20 year old he last saw him as before he got cursed with a soul.
The guy fails to grasp the concept of people changing, he still thinks of Spike as a Fledge, he still thinks Buffy as a 16 year old who will love him for eternity, he probably still thinks Giles as a stuffy shirt who follows the book, and Willow as the tech geek who see's the good in everything. He needs to embrace change.
Gotta love the logic of a teenager, "Uh, duh…’cause you’re an idiot,” Who needs to go in symantics when a kid can explain it in a simple sentence? Well except me but I like the um...sounds of the clicks of the keyboard.
So who has the stake pressed firmly against his chest? My money would be on Buffy but it could be anyone in that room, maybe except Wesley and Cordy because they still need the gelled one to pay their wages. That's another thing surely his money cannot be legit so how come he feels no guilt about using blood money?
Gotta love a chapter full of Angel Bashing.

| Hmm, I'm sensing a little of Angelus there. Yeah, that'll get them to trust him. He really is an idiot. I'm guessing that was Buffy in the end. I like that she chose Spike in front of everyone, but hopefully it wasn't just to get back at Angel. I'm actually against the staking of Angel. I don't think it's right because he actually does do a lot of good in LA, even though he's an idiot. But I wouldn't be against him getting smacked around a bit more. That can always be fun. Can't wait for more=) |

Wow, that's quite the turnaround for Buffy...would she really? Cause Spike annoyed her independently of what she had going on with Angel. It's not just that easy, since he would have had to prove himself trustworthy to her, just because he was a vampire, even if Angel had never come to town. But, saying all that in front of Angel, true or not, is pretty dang funny.
Just have Queen C unleash her full fury on Angel. He'll be meek as a lamb in no time. He could never stand to have her seriously mad at him. |
