| As you'll see, Angelus is too good at planning for his own good. He likes to set things up so he wins either way things go. A much more evil and thorough planner than our impetuous Spike. |

| Yeah, it just occurred to me that the mayor and crew would be in town during season 2, it's just that Buffy wouldn't know anything about it until later. But of course they'd be privy to anything important that happened and want to maintain the status quo re the oblivious Slayer. |
