| You had him drained by a vamp? You are gloriously evil girl. I'm still laughing. I can't get over it, just hysterical. Trying to be all stealthy and figuring out how to get back with Buffy through Harris, he gets nabbed by a vamp. If it's Spike I know he wont drain him, if not, he's toast and not a bad way to go considering all that he's done in the name of science. Great job, just love it. |

| oh my! the xander/Spike conversation was my favorite part of this chapter. I like the friendship bond that they're developing. The end with the vamp sucking on Riley -- (1) ewww, poor vamp will get indigestion and (2) this doesn't bode well - if he's turned, and (3) Who in their right mind would turn or even bite Cardboard? |

That's it, Riley. It's all Buffy's fault. She tossed you out knowing you would stalk Spike and Xander as they went to get food. She knew you would hang out in the shadows so focused on the two male Scoobies that you would be completely oblivious to your own surroundings. In fact, she even paid that vampire to sneak up behind you and turn you into a human slurpee.

Angel is a spoilt brat. He needs a spanking... preferably with 12 strands of barbed wire twisted together...
I think between Wesley's moral compass and Cordelia's "do it or I'm gonna bitch" attitude, they MIGHT be able to keep Peaches in line... maybe.
I LIKE the Spike and Xander friendship thing thats happening... *grin*
How in hell can Riley being bitten be Buffy's fault? SHE didnt send him out to follow Spike and Xander... asshole shoulda gone back to the frat and had a circle-jerk with his "buddies".

| I liked how Spike answered Xander's question, great conversation between the two. Hmmm... The unexpected twist at the end of the chapter has me wondering if a certain mad vampiress has joined the party, guess i'll have to wait to find out. Wonderful update! |

Whohoa! Didn't expect Riley to end up a snack! Will Spike hear it?
Kind of felt sorry for Angel, there, when Buffy snapped at him. If someone asks a polite question, the least you can do is be civil back. Oh, well. About time Penny moved things along, anyway.

Now now we can't have some fledgeling kill Riley, that would not be fair on Spikey, so maybed what we need is Spike saving his arse and then getting his arse kicked by said vamp and have him run off to wherever he ran off to last time. Unless ofcourse you are thinking of turning Lil Riley into a Vamp and then he'd have to face Spike one on one and see just what it means to be a Master Vampire when he is nothing but a lowly fledge...either option is good, as long as he gets his arse kicked by Spike.
*sigh* I somehow don't think that the talk between Penny and Angel is going to go well, the dude never did take instructions very well, he has to be in charge no matter how bad his judgement is, as long as he made the decision it's the right one. Well maybe he needs to be beaten into submission by the cheerleader she looks like she might be able to handle the Bulky Vamp.

| As nasty as Cordy could be, she is the best thing that ever happened to Angel. It is the very bitchiness of her that allows her to push Angel rather then him doing the pushing, and that is exactly what he needs. Angel was very easily able to manipulate Buffy, and that was one of the things that made their relationship unacceptable. On the other hand Angel really can't manipulate Cordy and that is what makes their relationship that of equals. And I love how you showed that here, from the beginning of their working relationship, even before they became friends, if she felt strong enough about something she made him do it. I really love the friendship between Spike and Xander, I could see how those two could have truly made good friends on the show, if only Xander could have seen Spike for who he became. I love what ended up happening to Riley, there is a definite humor to it. Although he now might become an even bigger threat. With you I take nothing for granted. Thank you for the great chapter, you manage to convey much, and give much to think about each time you post. |
