| I really loved how Spike is his old self with Buffy, that she has given him back his confidence. The interaction between Giles and Julian was so tender and powerful. I could feel the love that they have for each other, and the pain they were both feeling over what was happening. I’m really glad that Julian couldn’t go through with it, if Giles had been saved any other way the impact wouldn’t have been nearly as powerful. |
i agree, julian had to come to the decision for himself, out of his love for giles...i cried writing this chapter...lol..glad you enjoyed it  |

What can I say about this chap then... Love how Buffy *really* is the Slayer again, kicking some ass. Can't get enough of that after everything she's been through. Beautiful scene with Giles and Julian, father-son indeed. You made me cry for like the zillionth time... And that's a good thing Thanks for sharing this wonderful story

| Good to see annoying Spike back, but could these two goofs talk just a little bit less when they are in mortal danger? And could Buffy kidnap the doctor and remove Spike's chip? Please please please? Love the story, as always. |

| Wow. Great chapter. So glad the Julian didn't go through with his actions. Not only for Giles, but for himself. I was also really glad to see Spike find a missing piece of himself, when he stood up to Aaron down in the complex... Even if staying down there, wasn't neccesarilly the most reasonable thing to do! Besides, when has Spike ever been *reasonable?* *L* |

Oh so good! Love the father/son relationship between Giles and Julian. Somehow it is very believable in this world of your. Nor surprised at Spike refusing to leave Buffy or at how it actually worked to her advantage. He's regaining his sense of self and it's lovely. Interested in what this doctor might be about to reveal and hope Buffy has it all on camera. Also interested in where Mara has been through all of this drama (not to mention if Aaron and Anya are okie dokie)...lovely update.
