| Riley is truly far more sadistic then I even imagined. I knew he was evil but deliberately torturing someone to such a painful death, making it last for hours, is sickening. I really hope he gets even a portion of the pain he's caused other back. |

JL - You've raised a lot of interesting questions about the whole chip thing. What was the Initiative chipping vampires for in the first place and why was Spike the only one we ever see. And, of course, the whole remote control issue.
And who says Aaron can be trusted???? |

I feel so very bad for Julian. What courage! Just had the thought though that Spike's chip might be triggered by remote as well...gaaaahhhh.
This is such an excellent story and each chapter delivers on story...no slack time.
I am a genuine fan of your writing (having read all you've posted finally)...you have a rare gift that puts you in the category of excellence for storytelling, originality and character voice. Just keep it coming.

I really, really hope, they´re so intelligent that they lie to Rilley telling him that Gile´s dead or something...so they have more time to find a way to deactivate the chip...!!!!
