| Wow! Had started this, but only read the first couple of chapters and then forgot I was reading it, apparently. Now I'm playing catch-up and having a hard time tearing myself away. Amazing story - really. Scary Buffy (or first Slayer or whatever it is in there), but at the same time I see eerie similarities to their abusive relationship in season VI. Nicely done - I will finish catching up tomorrow, I hope. |

I love how Anya was trying to protect Spike.
I hope things get worked out soon, I hate to see spike in such emotional pain.

| This chapter was not as bad as I was expecting. I was expecting Buffy to be extremely violent. I am glad she was not. Good for Anya standing up to Buffy. Good chapter. |

| Buffy needs a mental ward like right about now! She's possessed i tell you and poor Spike. Loved Anya for standing up for Spike. I always liked her but Xander like Buffy was way to daft to appreciate what he had. |

| Man Anya has guts, but I am glad that Spike stepped in. I know that Buffy would hate it if she really did something to Anya and all Anya was trying to do was help. And I do hope that Buffy can stay in control long enough to help make things up to Spike. I so love this story. |

| I am glad that she realizes that she wants him to, but I wish Anya had been allowed to see what happened so she would understand more of what is really going on. Poor Spike! So confused over his feelings. Knowing he wants her, but not the things she is doing to him, and yet knowing that he doesn't want to be rejected by her, and loathing the feelings the whole time! Poor Buffy for not being able to control whatever it is, wanting to leave so she doesn't hurt him if she changes again, and yet still feeling responsible and staying to care for him. I really enjoyed this chapter, and I hope they find some answers soon, and before it is to late. What if this "other side" of Buffy decides NOT to retreat when she gets submission? Then how will they get Buffy back? The good side of her, that is..... |

| It seems Buffy has a dissociative disorder of some sort. Spike seems to be learning how to handle her lunacy. More story please. |

Damn....don't know who I feel sorriest for (mad as hell at Giles for suggesting something so volitile but not researching well enough to get it right!!!)
Funny but we DID see a glimpse of this primal Buffy from time to time in S6. This is just amped up a bit and there's less control in her.
