I'm just keeping my fingers crossed in hopes that Spike eventually lets the demon slip completely when Buffy goes too far and gets some of his own back.
I'm guessing that its worked this way because the ritual was flubbed, so its a bit of both dominance/mating claims, but without her supplication to his claim the forces of the bond are *way* uneven.
I can't get enough of this story, I'm all kinds of addicted. Too long without an update and I might start getting the shakes. I'm thanking my lucky stars for such awesome and speedy chapter uploads!
Now get back to writing. *Insert ominous whip-cracking sounds here*

| I had so much hope for this chapter. Buffy started out as a loving person. But alas it was not to be. It appears that the primal part of Buffy needs to dominate and control. She needs a way to merge her two selves I think. Sort of like the way Spike can control his demon. I don't really know what good talking will do but I hold out hope for the next chapter. Good job. |

Thing is, Buffy the *girl* would love to belong to a guy that would treat her right. It's the nasty Slayer demon that's the problem...
Gotta drain her some so she's too weak to resist you if you're going to pull that trick, Spike. And it's not even like he wants to trick her. He just wants to be on even ground again. He totally wouldn't mind staying with a nice Buffy.
What's talking going to do when you'll just get mad at him if he's himself, Buffy? Bitch. Chain her up and throw away the key until Giles and Anya can fix this. |
