Shakes head at Buffy - don't you ever learn, I assume the next dream will involve Riley. He was even more wrong for her then Angel. Buffy get a clue Spike loves you and always will.
True, Riley had the added problem of being breakable! There is a reason I am a Spuffy shipper....he was the right guy for her. Strong enough but bringing out her strengths too. Spike took her as who/what she was (and encouraged her to be all she could be) and therefore made her strong. Angel and Riley tried to mold her into what they wanted which weakened her terribly. Thanks. K

somebody get Buffy off the "normal" nonsense!
She'll learn! If she ever REALLY wanted normal (or found it attractive) Xander would have had a shot and we all know that was never going to happen *G*. K

It's interesting that Joyce explained to Buffy that normal does not make her happy and yet she is still caught in the idea of normal because of how ingrained the idea is in her. I love that she didn’t even try to deny the missing day, and that she realized that his actions that day were because of a not so nice character trait.
| It was a character trait too...he did the same things in LA with his people there making decisions that completely effected their lives, their choices and never told them. I've always felt that part of the reason Buffy clung to Angel as the love of her life is that it helped her deal with not killing him when she should have and preventing Jenny's death, etc. Just my opinion.
