I like Dawn-Spike friendship and hate Joss for not giving us any S7. OK here's my fav line:"Is poisoning yourself another Summers tradition?
Oh me too!!!! I loved their friendship so much and there was never that wonderful moment they needed to reconcile either. I hated that! Glad you liked that line, I admit I liked it too. K

She does like her denial. I really liked that even though she didn't tell Dawn what happened, she did help clear Spike's name.
That's appropriate IMHO. Buffy doesn't owe anyone a detailed report of what happened. That relationship up to and including the AR was between she and Spike. Xander butted in and mouthed off so something had to be said but Dawn doesn't need details. I just wish Buffy had done this with all her friends on the show. K
