It is interesting how Buffy, without her slayer memories, likes and cares for Spike without prejudice. And out of all her friends he is the one she didn't want leaving her the most. As for Xander, his blaming Spike when it was Spike trying to get Buffy to wake up and is being held by someone else shows how willing he is to place blame without facts. I like how well you showed how different Buffy is now, not by her memories as much as her absolute disbelief in demons and her commenting on the heaviness of the crossbow.
