| Wow! Our little Spikey sure has a set of stones. Or else his impetuous nature has him stupidly (but accurately & quite articulately) spouting off while chained up. Guess what he said about his nature is true-- he follows his blood. Strange how he'd always be the Slayer's whipping boy and take the barest smidge without complaint before. I like that he's put her back on the defense. Great story so far! |

I love how Buffy knocked em both out - *giggles* go Buffy. I absolutly adore this line:
"“I love you. I…love you. You're all I think about. Dream about. You're in my gut... my throat... I'm drowning in you, Spike, I'm drowning in you.”
Happy sigh - I really really really just adore that line!
And talk about great sceans sweetie - I loved the last bit - abot her friends cracking the whip. Wonderful, wonderful chapter

| Yikes!! Spike is giving her a big wake up call and it's not pleasant. I like to see him be the real deal, the real Big Bad, at least once in a while. The love's bitch routine is painful. More story please. |

| I loved the points Spike made to Buffy. She always hated how the men in her life would make decisions for her own good, but she totally allowed her friends to do the same thing. I also liked how he pointed out that him staying away could have more to do with what was good for him then what was good for her. Of course if that was the case he should have been up front with her, even if it was through someone else, that he didn’t want to see her again, he is smart enough to know that his being back could not be hidden forever. I am really looking forward to the next chapter to see where this goes. |

| can't say i really like where this is going, but i'll read one more chapter. i was hoping that buffy would have went to la after she found out spike was back. i don't like what she decided to do instead, seems a bit out of character. |
Oh good, coz there is only one more chapter left LOL
I've read tons fics where Buffy went to LA for the big confrontation, and only a few others where it happened in Italy (one of which is one of my own fics, 'With All My Heart), hence the change in venue.
Also...out of character? Hmmm maybe, maybe not. Depends on the authors interpretation of the character, I suppose, and of course you're entitled to your opinion, but please keep in mind that 90% of my work is written with a humorous outlook on the whole spuffy relationship.

I just love Buffy like this. I definitely have had a similar storyline floating around in my head since "The Girl in Question" episode. It always pissed me off that Spike just made the decision for her (so like Angel) as well as the whole Harmony almost-shag. Those things seemed completely out of character for the Spike we know and love and I always thought Buffy should get some revenge on him for that (maybe with chains and toys ;-)
I defintely love what you have so far, but those last two paragraphs have me a little worried, so update soon. |
