| Ok, so I had a thought. Maybe this isn't so much a part of the slayer side, so much as maybe just an entity or spirit that possesed PART of Buffy during the ritual. Maybe this "thing" just saw an opportunity at a moment of weakness on her part, and took the leap? It just doesn't seem to be the slayer side of her, so much as just very primal. Maybe it is the embodyment of our deepest most cave man like (primal) desires? I have no idea what I am talking about do I?? LOL! Great chapter...off to read the next one! |

Oh yeah....excellent update. Whew! Finally some folks who care about Spike have seen the truth. YES! Now Joyce can go kick Giles' pale (although shapely), ignorant, arrogant ass for the ill thought out plan to make Spike even more at their mercy than the chip made him. She can help Buffy figure things out too. Oh yes, excellent additions to the story with Dawn and Joyce (read the next chapter too....love the comfort but a bit worried for Dawn).

PS been trying to reply to your kind comments on my fic but having computer problems that is making it difficult at best. Able to read BSV fic through "favorite story" links but cursor acts like a Mexican jumping bean on crack when I go to the site.....hence I "select" on everthing BUT what I want....anyway, thank you so much I've read the reviews and am thrilled you enjoyed What You Wished For. I am always especially chuffed when authors I admire like my stories! |

| man, Spike just can't keep 2 days without things getting out of hand. But at least we now know something is really in control of Buffy. Go Joyce.. So glad she is now home. |

| please continue. i can't wait to see how this plays out. is the force "controlling" Buffy her 'inner-slayer'? you really like to see Spike in pain don't you? I can't really blame you, he's beautiful when he's suffering. Your stories seem to bring out my sadistic side. |

| All I can say is wow! What a chapter. The calvary in the form of Joyce has finally arrived and just in the nick of time. Can't wait to see how bringing Joyce into this volatile situation is gonna change things. At least we know that in Joyce, as with Dawn, Spike has someone who will actually listen to him. That is, if he's allowed to say anything. Looking forward to the next update - soon, please! |

| WEll, not only do Dawn and JOyce have calming affects on her, but at least now they can report how she's acting, so the Slayer can be brought back under control. |

Psycho-Slayer is a full-fledged personality, now...and not even Dawn matters to it. Geez, JL...she's gotten seriously scary.
Joyce to the rescue! I hope Dawn spilled all she knew over the phone, so that Joyce steps in immediately upon seeing what Buffy is doing to Spike. And stop hitting him in the head!

Loved the conversation between Dawn and Spike, though...their bond is very clear...and leave it to a young girl to cling to honesty, and absolute loyalty. |
