I just found "This Is The Way The World Ends" yesterday, I read the whole story in two sittings (had to stop, so i could sleep), and have now read the beginning of the sequel.
This is a marvelous story, I absolutely ADORE the Spike/Tara friendship.
Its nice to see things going well for everyone, but yet, its still convincinly real, with a whole different set of problems.
Will we be seeing Faith again? I was really happy to see her go off and do something productive, instead of being locked up.
Do you have an update list for this story? Or do I just need to check this site regularly? |

I absolutely love the story. Sorry the interest seems not to be there but I'm definitely interested.
This is the first story I've read (and I've read a lot) that gives a strong glimpse of William's father - most just say he died when William was a lad.
Can't wait to see where this goes.
I'm definitely hoping that you'll finish. And not just this one but I'm still curious about what happens with Spike after Buffy dies and he continues with his work. What happened with the 13 year old "Pidge" that he rescued from the cemetary at the end of the first story.

| I love reading your stories which are excellent, I just hate writing reviews. When I was writing fanfic I never asked for reviews and very rarely even read the ones I was given. It never mattered what others thought, I wrote because of the story I needed to tell. You write until there's no more story to give. |

| Please don't stop writing, this story is great! Your other story was really wonderful too, it followed a nice story arc in a way most fic writers don't accomplish. Don't get discouraged - this story seems like it's had a little slower start in terms of plot, but the writing is still lovely. |

| First off let me just say that this story is just as wonderful as the first one!! Second let me apologize for not reviewing even though I have been happily following both this one and the one before. I know what it is like to write and not get feedback. It is disheartening I know, but I also know that there are those out there that read many fics and never send any feedback. Yes I know that it seems unfair but even if only one person is enjoying the words that you have written you have brought a smile to at least that one person and that should bring a smile to you in return. Okay shutting up now but I promise to send you more feedback on this great story so please don't stop writing. |

While i do think you're a good writer, the reason why i don't read most of it is because of chapters like this one.
I don't believe in submissive Spike,William, but since it is an AU story then it is possible to write it that way.
I'm just not a fan of it.

I`ve just recently stumbled over the story and I really like it. I hope you will continue writing it. I think this is a really good sequel although this chapter I didn`t like. Not that it wasn`t well written,because it is, but because I really like Spike and feel sorry for him. Keep up the good work!!!! |

Not everyone who reads reviews. I'm usually one of those.
This story has gotten a bit 'out there' for my tastes in where it has taken Spike. Still, I really loved the earlier part of the preceding story, and your writing is strong enough that I'm quite willing to keep reading in hopes that it grabs me again. Also, I'm a sucker for non-fantasy/AU fic, especially during this time period. Anyway, I'm still reading. |
