My bet's that another demon killed Joyce, Mack came across her body, then other demons came across Joyce and Mack and Mack took credit. |

| good move on spike part, going back for buffy. you would had to spend many chapters repairing the damage (not that i wouldn't have enjoyed reading them.) mack doesn't seem capable. thanks for the great read. |
