| I'm sorry that it took me so long to review this here, Rae. I loved this chapter. You really nailed Buffy's insights of Angel down. I loved seeing the great poofter get all ticked off at Buffy's views on him. It was a refreshing read, and it uplifted my mood to start the day. Thanks! |

God, I hope Buffy will be there soon to dust his broody, bigoted ass, he and his I-harbour-the-ultimate-wisdom-attitude are truly unbearable 
loved this chapter and your precise characterisation of Buffys relationship with Angel
what I like most about this fic is that Buffy is honest with herself for once about how the actions of those people around her really affected her

OMG!!!!! BRAVO!!!!!! Kudos to your to adding Willow's fishies in there. I flove this sooo much!! Man, Angel's a right jackass that deserves to get beaten to a bloody pulp. And then staked. | Wow, you did great with this summation of Angel's and Buffy's relationship. I love how she finally realized that he treats her like a child and the way she was phrased it. I thought it so funny when he threw her journal calling it a book of lies. The best was when she admitted that Spike loved her more then Angel ever could. Thank you for this fantastic chapter. I hope you continue to do better. |

Oh oh oh have you NAILED Bangel!!!! When writing my season 1 story I was struck by how that "relationship" really was fact by fact and incident by incident and you have encapsulated it perfectly!!! He did NOTHING, nothing to help her save veiled warnings and watching!!!! The "great epic love" was a crock from start to finish. I excuse Buffy totally as she was so very young but he was far from that.
You have him perfectly depicted in all his denials and arrogance as he sees her words condemn him properly. He was ever this way acting as though he were the "chosen of the Powers" instead of just a convenient powerful being with a forced soul they picked to use.
LOVE this story and well worth the wait. In fact this chapter is powerful enough to nearly be stand alone! (or be put out as Meta on the analysis of the Bangel relationship!).
So sorry you've had the RL demons at your heels (me too)......so glad you have slain them for now!

Anyone with half a brain can see that, but his stubborn, broody ass can't see anything. Anyway, I'm glad to see an update for this. Sorry about all of your bad luck. Angelus' rage strikes again. The boy didn't used to be this dumb...without Cordy around to keep ounding sense in his brain, I guess that building is really draining all the positive traits away he did possess.
