I wonder why Cordy is there, and why Dru is lying on the couch. I wonder about human Spike. So many questions. I look forward to the answers. |

Now THAT was an unexpected ending to the chapter *G*.
Love Willow starting to see what Spike always has, there is not much difference between Angel and Angelus at all.
I am dying to find out the Powers real plan here. I agree with Willow that their insistance upon Angel as their champion is (and was on the show) crazy! He was convenient at best.

I really enjoyed Spike’s reaction to being human and around all his favorite foods.  And now Cordy’s there, I can’t wait to find out why. Thank you for the update, I really enjoyed it. |

Eh? Well, isn't that a cliffie of an ending.
I'm guessing this actually isn't about Angel, at all, but about Spike. The final test to elevate him to favorite of the Powers. Simply because Willow is right about Angel - he doesn't make the right choices in the big moments, nor for the right reasons.
Loved how you wrote Spike's memories of home, the relishment in cherished smells and sounds, and tastes.
Is Dru completely still because the moment's been paused, so Cordy can talk to Spike? |
