Stellar story.
I wish you would expand this into a longer story. Buffy realizing the damage she's done and staying away because she's not good enough is a great concept. It might be neat to see her break down in front of the Scoobies and revea
l what she really thinks. |

So unbelievably insightful, and puts a whole new spin on the un-spuffyness of Ats season 5. Truly truly beautiful, and I'm glad you let Buffy finally see through her friends, and recognise Spike for what he truly is. The twist of sad irony is that in realising his worth, she no longer feels worthy of him.
Completely gorgeous. All I've read from you has been truly fantastic, and the streaks of sadness you manage to incorporate are honestly awe-inspiring. It's like sweet misery, but minus the ansgt, and it's incredible to imagine Buffy allowing Spike to move on without her, for fear that she will merely hurt him again.

wow..that was heart-wrenching...beautifully written, very well done and realistic portrayal of how she might have felt after everything was said and done...my heart hurts for her and yet everything she's feeling there is true... excellent little piece  |

| Not Giles, Willow or Xander deserved to be forgiven. Very sad and sweet. For once Buffy is thinking about what Spike needs. Hope you'll be writing more. |

| I liked your take on this. Though most of us, Spuffy lovers, agree that Buffy's treatment of Spike was unfair, there aren't many stories out there where she acknowledges this, and decides to do something about it. In fact, I don't think I've ever read one that her staying out of his life for his own good. Cool twist. Bravo! |
