I liked the bits about Blood - of course Spike knows the difference between Dawn's blood and other people's geesh people - he is a vampire!
I love this part - "Enough to know I don't have to string the boy up for not taking proper care of her. Let's go."
And Spike's tirade to Brandon's dad - priceless! I love LOVE LOVE this chapter! *hugs you* |

Well, I think Spike managed to make his point. That's for sure... as is your assessment of Sam... and I guess (despite the fact he's about my least favourite character) I was actually almost feeling sorry for him myself by the time I wrote this. It would have been easier to lump him in with Sam and have him come to a sticky end, but I wanted to surprise the people who might have read one of my earlier fics, where I gave in to temptation and blew him up, by putting a completely different twist on his part in AYW. |
