| well well Buffy is really trying to fight her way back and not letting things get Too far. And I just love that Spike is really taking the initiative to get them out of town. I just hope Buffy can hold it together long enough to get out of town or away enough to outrun the council. HOpe Buffy is open to what Spike might have to tell her. |

| For some now completely unknown reason to me, I was never really interested in reading this story. Nothing personal, I'd just glanced at it, and it didn't really 'call' to me, so I moved past it. But a few days ago I had some time on my hands and picked this fic to start reading. And oh. my. god. I am a moron. After every chapter, I kept asking myself "and you haven't been following this story the whole time...WHY??" I gotta say, though, it's tearing up my insides reading some of this all-out anguish! When, oh, when will it end? Or at least ease up a bloody bit?! Stupid unleashing of Buffy's stupid Slayer self, getting all extra violent and demonic! Stupid Council! Stupid Scoobies! And stupid freakin' Buffy! Man it's hard to sympathise with her in this fic. It's all so frustrating! But still so good! I feel like Spike does; even though I know it's all stressing me out, I can't help but want more! I NEED it! |

For that matter, what was Giles thinking when he told all to them? Looking for help is one thing - being stupid about it is something else altogether. Wonderful, suspenseful chapter. I'm worried that all this forcing the 'slayer demon' back will make it extra strong. This is just my thinking, but i have always thought that Angelus was a sadistic bastard, but the soul made it worse (you know, ending the world and all). Maybe the thousands of years the demon has been forced back will make even more strong than Angelus. Just a vague little guess tho.
