What a way for the chip to be removed. I really hope it is realized that Spike has been taken soon. I loved the talk Anne gave to Xander and how she pointed out the problems in his actions. I also like that Buffy and Giles heard the talk and hopefully it will have a positive influence on them. Thanks for the update, I was so happy to see it.  |

I guess it's my turn. Having caught up with the other WIPS I've been following, I decided to check this fic out, only to have read all nine chapters. I absolutely love this story! I especially love the way you twisted this scene with Glory to include the removal of Spike's chip. I can't wait to see what happens in future chapters!  |

Thank you and for the earlier comments as well. Computer problems have kept me from replying but I am so pleased you are enjoying the story. Yes, someone needed to have a chat with Xander IMHO...maybe he would have acted differently towards Anya too. K

I hope Anne can get through to Xander. I like how you both expose him for what he is and offer him the possibility of changing. Often, he either is irreperably hateful or immediately becomes Spike's friend with little justification. I think you're handling it quite well.

| Go Mom-Power! Xander needed that. I can't wait to see the reaction to Spike being taken. I can just imagine how the "We must kill him before he can talk" attitude from the show would go over with Anne. Or will you play it differently? Can't wait to see. |

| I just read your story today. It is great. You have done a great job with Spike's mother and her description of Spike. I really liked how Anne told off Xander. She did it in such a way that was not mean but compassionate. But you also knew that she would not brook any nonsense. Please update soon. |

| That was the most genteel dressing down I've ever seen. It looks to be alot more effective than a smack in the head and it's unintendidly done good for the eavesdroppers. |

| Excellent chapter. I love Anne confronting Xander with his behavior, while also seeing the potential for good in him. Glory taking the chip out - a very logical and much more reasonable step than leaving it in as they did in the show. Looking forward to more. |
