Knew that bitch wasn't to be trusted. Won't feel one bit bad when they go after her as well. Glad to see that Dru no longer has a hold on Spike. Hope you had a nice vacation. LOL

LOVED the Spike/Drisilla scene. Spot on characterization for both of them.

I think Nancy should be careful what she wishes for - if there's a showdown with the Council, she may not come out of this very well at all.

And warm squishy Spuffy is always a treat!

I liked Dru's appearance in the chapter. It's good to know Dru found closure and won't try to cause problems for our favorite couple, they already have their hands full with Nancy and now Travers. Loved the intimacy Spike and Buffy shared. Fantastic update!

Oh, you are so right about the hating Nancy! Loved Spike giving Dru the mega brush off and the loving with Buffy. *sighs*

Thanks ever so and looking forward to more when it appears. BFN

Yeah Nancy is a biatch

Hmm now what will happen? I vote for Spike killing Nancy to get another notch in his belt, he deservs that.

Of course we're willing to wait. It's *your* story, after all. Thank you for sharing it with us.

very good update, thanks for the read. nancy calling travers. i'm sure that will work out well for all, even nancy.

What a nasty wench. I do hope she's going to get what's coming to her. Sweet irony of course would be the Council taking her out, but I can't see that fitting into your plotline. Oh well. Any way will be a good way.
Elizabeth Anne Summers06/19/2006 09:27 pm
Oooo, hopefully the council will kill Nancy *giggles* that would be awesome karma
McChick06/19/2006 09:15 pm
Hahhaha you answered your own question there! haha ok I dont hate her, like you said previously in your notes everyone handles situations different and its pretty clear Nancy handled the ones in her past different then the canon Buffy would have... but Im not really on the whole 'loving Nancy ban wagon' right now ahahah! Excellent chapter though!

I love the way you portray Nancy's thinking - spinning more and more out of control to justify her feelings. But - going to Travers!!! What a twist this is going to put in the works. Looking forward to more.

I've been meaning to review this story for... oh, the last thirty chapters or so... *EEP*... but never got around to it. Just now, though, I saw that you didn't have *one single review* for the new chapter, and I just had to...

It's been a wild ride, hon, and though I can't say that I loved every second of it, I stuck with it (not hard to do) and I'm glad. Wasn't keen on Buffy not being the Slayer, at first, but I see it's turned out great. Nancy makes a much more believeable antagonist than a non-Slayer would, and a much more dangerous one, too. Is she a static char, or will there be change with her? It would be wonderful to see Nancy get hit full in the face with the truth, and realize how bad she screwed up (after shye'd almost ruined everything, of course). She's not a bad char, either, I like Nancy despite her faults. In fact, it's very refreshing to see a flawed char that's not either completely OOC or just plain spineless.

Doing good, hon- keep it up! Can't applaud you enough, really, and I hope that this somewhat makes up for never reviewing prior to now. As a writer, I know how great reviews are, too. Don't ever quit- you've got a real talent.
