Decided that I have been a bit mean, as of late, so I wanted to go back and review a few chapters that I nevert got around to reviewing, and tell you how much I loved them. A bit of an apology for getting a bit snippy about some of the more recent chapter (ok, ALL of the recent chapters)
This chapter began an arc of chapters that I really, really enjoyed reading. This one starts off great: Dawn goes to Spike, and as Buffy approached, you can almost hear the Jaws theme begin to play. Even though we all know that Dawn will not die, there is that moment where you go..."oh my god, is Buffy really going to do it?"
Xander and Giles reactions, followed by Dawn, are perfect. You are almost screaming with Dawn as they roughly drag this poor, poor vamp into the room (Hey, just noticed that even when Buffy ISN'T around, Spike is being hurt. I pity your version of Spike...I'd stake myself after all fo this mess...but I guess that makes Spike stronger then me)
The end with Joyce thinking what we all are thinking: That it's very hard not to see Buffy as the villian (I still havealot of trouble with it, which maybe explains why I get so made when she breaks down and Spike conforts her) but she is a victim. |
lol...i am glad there are some parts of the story that you actually enjoyed *grin*...yes, i actually get a lot of comments from people who dont like how i write spike...i'm sorry, but i actually see a lot of vulnerability, a lot of emotional hurt in the character (probably that darn psychology training  ) and it tends to come out in my writing...thanx for your kind words....hope you like the rest  |

| Xander is such a jerk in this! He just can't see why anyone should care about Spike... heck I would even treat a dog the way they were treating this vamp... they are the evil people! |
well, they always treated him so badly in the show, i only think this is a *slight* exagerration  |

| I second Dawn, huh? I am really looking forward to the explanation for his comment. I loved how Dawn was able to help Buffy fight back from the possession and that she was able to see what is affecting Buffy. I also loved Joyce’s comment to Xander and Dawn’s comment to Xander and Giles over their treatment of Spike. |

| excellent read. love the tale, thanks. to heighten enjoyment of this fine tale, you could kill xander and giles, or let them exist in physical pain and mental suffering for a few decades. |

| Another great chapter. It appears that the demon inside Buffy is no match for Dawn and Buffy together. Will Xander ever grow up? The writing was unbelievable. I was on the edge of my seat. Can't wait to read more. |

HMMMMM....I wonder what exactly is going on here. I guess we will find out soon enough. I wish Anya would just smack Xander upside his stupid little head, he just pisses me off sometimes. I look forward ato the next chapter.
P.S.- I am glad that you are putting in more of what Buffy is feeling and trying to struggle against. It helps to know that this is NOT how she wants to treat him, although she will have a lot of trust to build up once they kick this thing out of her, or make it go dormant again. |

| I was really afraid for Dawn but she just might be the key to keeping "Buffy" here. And I hope Buffy realizes what Spike did to try and help her and Dawn as well. Glad Xander is being put in his place. Great chapter. |

forgot to add, could joyce or dawn *please* tell the self-righteous xander and giles that spike is getting hurt trying to protect dawn and joyce from *buffy*??!!!
seems the least they could do as a thank-you is make clear he's acting selflessly and heroically! |

| Excellent chapter, although Xander and Giles continue to be particularly irritating with their stupidity. Looks like we are getting closer to a revelation. Can't wait to see how Willow screwed this up. |
