I loved Buffy threatening Xander with snapping his spine in half and that she also told him to mind his own business. That is something she needs to say to him more often.  As for her last thought, she should know better, they can always get worse. Thanks for the update, I really enjoyed it. |

When she paused to catch her breath, Giles finally raised his hand and she about dropped in relief. If she said another word, dug her hole any deeper, she might as well fall through the earth.
“Here’s what I don’t understand,” he said slowly, a long sigh rolling off his shoulders. “Why…after so many months…would you think it possible?”
I felt that in this passage it was unclear that Xander was the one talking because in the first paragraph you mention Giles, and then refer to the speaker as "he."
Anyway, I still really love your story! |

| Good chapter. It will be more interesting to read Joyce's reaction. I really can't believe that Giles is so stupid. I assume he knows it was Spike and is playing dumb or he just did not want to know. |

Hmm it's kinda fun with Willow hating Xander and Buffy wanting to crush men in general
Now I know that you are taking this mated thing and making it your own way but I'm just curious how you deal with the bond that seems to be between Sire and childe. I don't know if that is something fandom has created too or if it was in the show that there were a family bond but if it was wouldn't Spike mating also sort of change/add to that? |

Surprised she didn't tell Xander it wasn't by choice just to get him off her back. Of course, that'd put him in a protective rage that would get him killed when he tries to stake Spike.
Still waiting for her to get clue about the bite meaning something. It's not so out of the realm of reason with vampire? |

Wow, Willow's selfish little bitch act really got to me. Her babbling made me think that "slowly choked until she passes out from panic" would be an appropriate action to take. Her excuses only added "while being lectured". But her feeling SORRY, as if that *matters*?
As if the guilt Willow suffers from is something that must be alleviated first and foremost? That it has priority over the humiliation and pain of betrayal Buffy is suffering from? That Willow's suffering has priority over her victims'? Wow, just holy fucking wow.
I have always been strangely unsympathetic to Willow and now I know why; I loathe her. Thank you for that revelation. |
