I really enjoyed the update and Buffy touching Spike’s hair for a moment after her dream was sweet.

Well I don't think we're in Kansas anymore Toto, LOL! Such a strange new world you're painting for our characters here and yet it's very intriguing. And while a circus setting seems completely fantastical for the BtVS characters this is something soooo RIGHT about it too. If it were a metaphor for the series then wouldn't Spike be the perfect tragic clown & Buffy the ballerina on a tight rope? Looking forward to your next instalment and in seeing how you'll try to tie this new verse to the original Buffyverse.
