| So Spike has now the position of a paid watcher.. more or less. ~ Loved Buffy's talk to Giles, very moving (heartbreaking). And Buffy trying to slay? It sounds as if she is in trouble now.. lots of trouble. |

spike needs to come help her!!! poor buffy! her speech to giles was utterly heart-wrenching, and so true...how could he resist that? but then -- he's gonna have a baby....i'm so torn...more please  |

I am enjoying this story. Very good Buffy characterization. I like the way you have Giles leaving. For such a good reason but even that Buffy cannot understand. The Giles/Spike conversation was just hillarious "Sold. I'm a Watcher.
"You're a 'Looker After'. You're a 'Seeing Eye Vampire'. You're not quite a Watcher."
Very funny dialogue. Looking forward to the rest of the story. |

Very cool. I haven't seen Watcher!Spike (kinda) in this timeframe before. I'm really looking forward to that. I like the Giles stuff here too, and I hope there's more of that coming.
Buffy is messed up - so are some of the others - and I'm eager to see how Spike will fit into the mix given his mandate from Giles. |
