| I like that Spike did question things for a moment, a very normal response given their history and what she is trying to prove. I love what Spike then did, handcuffing himself to the bed, to show Buffy his trust. |
yeah, he's not stupid...he loves her so he's willing to put himself out there, even if he's pretty sure he's gonna regret it  |

This story seems to me like it is about to get complicated. It looks like Buffy doesnt really know herself whether she is going to be *able* to hurt him like she wants to prove she can. I cannot wait to see how it progresses. Great suspense, great emotion, great chapter! |

| Ha! Took back the power in the game again. He's always going to be one step ahead because 1) he knows her so well, and 2) he's way more calculating than she ever could be. Compared to what he certainly learned about "games" in the past, this is nothing. |
| yep, he's got a lot of experience on her...his one weakness is how much he cares about it...it will always be more than a game to him...he could win, and *still* lose, because of that *sigh* he's such a romantic...but in the end she'll come through.. |
