This chapter was so well done with their confusion and uncertainty shining through. I love that Buffy realizes that she wants someone who really loves her and that she was able to express this to Spike. Thanks for the great read.  |

| Nicely angsty, and I don't say that alot. Usually angst makes my stomach hurt. Interesting that Buffy wants him to love her, but I don't think she'd know what to do with it if she had it. She seems too confused. Very well written. I'm really feeling for the characters. Can't wait for the next chap. |

| Okay - the only way you could have made my gut feel any heavier for our hero and heroine at the end of that chapter was to have Buffy use the infamous "Goodbye...William" line, heh! Her relationship with Angel, while totally doomed, shouldn’t be the bar to which she compared all future relationships, especially with the way it had fallen apart.
