This fic really has kept me on the edge of my seat... Thank you.
Finally we come into the "good stuff" even though I guessed early on that "the Slayer" was a part of the problem. But will Giles believe Spike?
And will the others accept him like Joyce and Dawn have?
Good questions, I guess I have to wait for the next chappies to find out...

I knew it had to do with the origins or original slayer. She is part demon after all! I was very happy that Buffy stood up to everyone about Spike, GOOD FOR HER!! I hope the other side of her doesn't try to come out and play.

I don't think it will make Buffy angry, but she's going to be shocked that a demon was originally used as the source of the Slayer's power. The SlayerDemon sees Dawn as a binding agent, and because of Willow's spell, it will be able to take over Buffy if Dawn is out of the way. So, SlayerDemon probably won't be happy with all the knowledge Spike is going to pass on.
Buffy really has to keep a lid on her insecurities, her negative emotions...they allow the Slayer to take hold of her.
About time she cares enough to set the others straight. I hope Dawn watches her closely to see if she starts to struggle. This is still going to be messy just because Giles, Xander, and Willow are not going to take the news well - for many different reasons, of course. |
