| This one of the very best Bufy and Spike stories I've ever read! An actual plot, a little humor, a little more maturity than usual... a perfect mix. Oh, and Willow's comments to Xander? So, *so* funny. Who hasn't wanted to spout stuff like that? |

The quality of your writing is very good on a purely technical level. Your exploring something new in a fandom as mature as Buffy is enough to make it memorable. This exploration being at the dead center of fanon is nothing short of astonishing. So I don't see why you'd be surprised you were nominated for awards. False modesty perhaps?  |

| This is really interesting. I like how Spike does not have any idea about the claim. You are doing a great job writing his confusion. I can't wait to read what happens next. What is Buffy thinking and how is she feeling? I guess that is next. |

I absolutely love this story. You've kept Spike and Buffy in complete character to S3, yet you've also brought more to them while still keeping them in canon. Does that make sense?
Buffy: wow, I love the line she gave him about not being that girl that would leave, but give her some more guy problems and she would be. Gosh, that's 100% Buffy. Great job there.
Spike: always rules by his feelings, yet scared of them, too. I love how conflicted he is about her and that last line just says it all. 100% Spike.
Splendid job and I can't wait for more! |

I really feel sorry for Spike; the pain he's going through still makes no sense to him. *wants to go and comfort Spike*
BTW While Buffy's been avoiding Angel there still has been few short encounters... Haven't there been any ...ummm... interesting scents that he'd have noticed?
