| Great dialogue for Dru. Xander like's Spike and so does Buffy. Alls right with the world. Dru deserves her peace. Almost caught up. Wonderful. |
I'm glad you are enjoying it |

Lovely chapter! Poor Dru, but it's for the best. She can finally have peace.
|
She still has things to say. |

| Oh *sniff* poor poor Dru *sniff* |
| I know...but she has stuff to say first. |

I like the idea that dusting Dru will give her peace. I’ve always felt that even though she is a killer because of what was done to her the guilt of her actions is on Angel’s head and not hers. Thanks for another very enjoyable update. |
| I agree, Drusilla is a tragic tale |

| so love all of the family bonding. And it is good to see Spike and YBuffy just flowing. Angel never learns and I never thought I would say this but I do feel sorry for Dru... Maybe she will be at peace like everyone is saying. |
Dru still has some things to say |

Great chapter, Jacks!! Loving the bonding between the guys.
I especially loved the scene where Angel's demon, Angelus laid claim to Dru, and he, Angel thinks that Buffy is his. What an egomaniac, but then I always thought so anyway. After reading some of the earlier reviews for this chapter, have to say that I don't know a male out there that does not flinch, either inwardly or outwardly when someone threatens his "manly bits", like one of your reviewers wrote. Everytime I read one of his reviews I think, "what is he doing? Writing a review for the NY Times?" His reviews are hysterical in my book, glad to see you not getting sidetracked by such a small person.
Can't wait for more of all your fics.

Thank you...I think he thinks he is as adorable as one of my other reviewers, Harry...a sad delusion to have. There can only ever be one Harry |

You know what, Jack? If our paths should ever cross, I'd gladly buy you couple rounds of drinks.
You rock, man!
The Poofter really is a moron with a capital M! But who will be the one to try (emphasis on the try) to bang some sense to that over-gelled head of his???
I feel somewhat sorry for Dru, though she's been through enough in her existence...
Keep up the good work!

Dru's 'pain' will be explored |

I hope there'll be some Angel-dustage soon
The two sets of Spuffy are absolutely endearing I can't wait to read more

A couple issues whose consequences are piling up:
* introducing elves is fine so long as you explain why they weren't there when Buffy came to Sunnydale. One explanation is that they're very easily corrupted by the Hellmouth (in a matter of days) so they usually stay away and aren't able to keep abreast of events. If you let the current elf (yes, I've forgotten her name) hang around much longer, you'll need a different explanation.
* men don't automatically sympathize with their enemies just because they are in excruciating "manly" pain. Pain such as Angel getting his testicles ripped off and fed to him. Only a pacifist would empathize with Angel at this point. Only a sensual person would sympathize by instinct. Buffy and Spike are very sensual, Xander *may* be, but Giles is not; Giles is intellectual. Also, if Spike has devoted any time at all to dirty fighting, he'd have trained himself out of the reaction.
So the people least likely to bat an eyelash at mention of crotch-kicking are Giles and Spike. And the one *most* likely to wince at the thought is actually Buffy.
* I'm still waiting to see an action sequence where Buffy gets punched in the tits, the ovaries or the crotch. This dearth indicates that writers have a very poor understanding of violence in relation to the human anatomy. Which in turn indicates that all those "men getting kicked in the balls" scenes are nothing but cliches repeated by ignorant little girls.
Unfortunately, cliche is NOT a reliable source of information. Witness the parody of male bonding that's the "all males in the room wince at the mention of someone's balls being hurt" reaction (about as believable as the male fantasy that every girl wants to lick her best friend). Now contrast it with the fact that despite half the population having a very good idea why you don't go jogging without a jogging bra, THAT little tidbit somehow just never gets mentioned in mixed company. |
Thank you so much for showing us all a perfect example of CLICHE and TRITE. Though I might suggest that this is not the best forum for it.
Once again you appear ready to jump the gun - do you perhaps open Christmas presents before Christmas or read the last page of the book first?
Maybe this would be one of those times when it was better not to share - ya think! |

I feel kind of sad about Dru's upcoming dusting, but I guess if Spike and William are okay with it then it must be the right thing to do. I'm really hoping Angel screws up so Llwethyn can fill that empty space above her mantle. Loved the chapter! |
I feel sad about it too |

Very nice chappie, i agree on the dusting of dru. Wich i kept on waiting to happen in canon, but never did. The damage that angelus did is irreversable, he tortured, raped, sodomised and then turned her. Her human spirit was already broken, and in that moment he turned her so she would forever be stuck in that state. That's what the sick mind of angel/us considers a work of art.

| Sad but oh so very true! |

NaNanananana...i'm not the only one who does double posts :p
You can't dust Dru...surely between a bigfoot, elf, a pure cleansed vampire, the slayer, the nerd, the geek and the watcher they can find a way to help her sanity. Maybe if the help her cnfront her fears and defeat her demons she'll get better...I know have her dust Angel, maybe that will help her.
Angel not winning any points here is he, he'll end up getting dusted just on principle...btw where's Willow's boyfriend the Werewolf...who'se name I forget. I think he'd make a good friend with Spike and he can probably help him control his inner demon/wolf.
Well still loving it
Update soon
Harry. |
Cheeky boy! lol. Harry, much as I'd love to say there is some miracle cure for torture induced insanity - there isn't. Years of treatment by qualified psychiatrists would still not promise success. Releasing the innocent woman from her continued torment is a act of kindness in this case.
As to Oz, he didn't actually get involved with the group until after 'Halloween' and Ethan Rayne.
Thanks for being here,
Jack |

| Poor Dru can't even be mistress of her own fate. |
| Are you sure? |
