| Not only is Travers evil so are the men with him. I loved Buffy kicking butt, particularly after what they wanted to do to her. |

Ahhhhhhhhhhh cliffhanger is a word I couldn't even use to describe that last chapter's ending ahahha! but at least we know Spike got to her!!! eek!! love it!!

Oh yeah, LOVE seeing Buffy kicking some council ass there! It'll be cool to see how Giles handles the confrontation with Travers, too. And of course I'm looking forward to Spuffy together again.

Oh-haha. I agree, redemption for Nancy would've been annoying. And I understand that you didn't follow whatever your readers wanted, but instead had a plot that was developed before the Kill Nancy rallies began. I just thought that it'd be interesting to see her alive, just as bitchy as ever, only kicked around by the full knowledge that everything she'd done was miserably wrong.
And when I asked about Angel, I didn't mean 'why isn't he helping them?' I meant, what actions will he take once he finds out that Nancy is lying dead somewhere--especially when he never trusted Spike in the first place.
I have a habit of picking too much.  It's a great story. Thanks for sharing. |

Cliffy.....man that is so bad.....I want Spike to torture him at least for a little while before he dies....hmm or maybe give him to Angel...I'm sure he'd be pissed since he killed her darling.
So I take it that in this reality the thing with the master didn't happen. Since Faith was called after Nancy was killed. |

Huh? Wha-- So what did Giles and the gang find out? It was good to see Buffy finally confront Travers at her best; the tension's just nail-biting right now.
(Skipping back a little bit, I was sort of disappointed by how Nancy's character was dealt with, even though it seemed to be the popular route to go. I think it would have made a better read if she were kept alive and forced to face everything she'd done to the others. Also, what about Angel?) |
Nancy's death had nothing to do with what was "popular." I'd already decided to go that route a while back, and it was for reasons that are important to this story, one of which being this story is not about Nancy's redemption. It would've added unecessay drag to the end of the story to have Nancy go all "I learned a valuable lesson," plus I felt it gave the story too much of an "after school special feel." She played with fire, she got burnt--end of story. It's not my style to have Nancy learn her lesson and have everyone end the fic with a big group hug. I'm sorry.
As for Angel, I'm not ignoring him, but I didn't think it made any sense for them to run and get him to help them rescue Buffy. It's just not logical given the situation. |
