Three years of memories - shakes head. I would hate to see what would have happened if they hadn;t been in the room when it occured. Shakes head and starts to daydream about that scenerio...

When Anya said that Angelus' curse came from the rape and murder of a potential Slayer, I still gasped. The fact that he knew what she was (since Dru informed him) and continued on ... was juat abominable. It would have been different if Angelus was willing to take a Slayer head on. He wasn't. He went after a potential who would be weaker ... to try to prove his "manliness". That's wrong and cowardly.

Go Giles with his support of William's and Anya's hypothesis that Angel had 100 years to find out about the curse. He's right, they did find the information in a matter of weeks. Angel could have too, if he wanted to. The thing was, Angel didn't want to.

Stupid Willow thinking she is all powerful and playing with Magic she truly does not understand.

Excellent chapter.
Willow does have some lessons to learn

Anya's past did give her some insights that are helpful for Buffy (I hope). So Angelus claimed Buffy and failed to tell her, huh? Very good thing then that Anya can do something about it before Angelus comes back to Sunnydale. Oh then maybe William loves Buffy too? But he thinks he is unworthy of her. And Willow did indeed to the spell, a forgetting spell this time. Good that the others were protected, thanks to Anya.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review

So glad that Buffy and Giles are helping Anya finally feel like she's part of the team. Can't wait to hear Angel explain himself, but than he has no memory of it yet, does he? Excellent chapter.
Thank you kindly

Nice chappie! Your explanations are so wonderfully detailed, it keeps the excitement up! I can't believe Willow! *shakes head* I hope this teaches her.
Not yet...but soon?

Well that was interesting. Stupid (well not really, too smart for her own good) Willow! She's in sooo much trouble. Poor Buffy, having her beliefs about Angel torn apart. Neccessary, but losing childish dreams is still painful. And, William has such a self esteem problem. I can't wait for the next chapter to see all the new developments. I love your stories.
Thank you, you are too kind

Wait a minutes i'm getting a serious case of Deja Vu here, certain parts seem extremely familiar why is that? Also remember reasing about Angel demanding Buffy stake Spike. And the demon needs flogging is familiar.

Wait Willow did a spell thinking it best everyone forget the last 3 years? So three years education down the shithole. Pretty stupid thing to do that, for the brightest member of the group pretty dumb girl isn't she.

Angel claimed Buffy and didn't tell her!! he deserves dusting on principle...maybe have Dru dust him Still not giving up on it...lol

Well still loving it
Update Soon

Harry...I am dusting Dru in Paradox! LOL

I like smart Anya - good job she did such a nifty spell or it'd be huge confusion all round!
oh yeah! LOL
katakata07/06/2006 05:26 am
A sweet William, tolerant though still quirky Buffy, an exposed Willow and some Angel-bashing? A rousing 'oh hell yeah' to this fic! Imagine how different things could have been if season 4 had progressed along these lines - of course it would never actually be allowed to happen in the Whedonverse (Joss & co seem to prefer people remain tortured, if not by others then due to their own ignorance). Really satisfying to see Xander get called on the hyena-rape incident (he soooo got away scot-free with that) and to see Anya getting some recognition for her accumulated knowledge (sure she was naive in the ways of being human after 1000+ years out of practice but she could NOT have been completely clueless to survive that long). Really enjoying this and looking forward to more 8-)
Joss actually said once that if it wasn't a Shakespereian type tragedy, then it wasn't love.

Uh oh... looks like Willow screwed up again. I'm really looking forward to the confrontation Willow's in for when she gets her memories back. I loved William's talk with Buffy. And Anya really shined in this chapter. Wonderful update!
Thank you so much

Hehehe  Willow goofed herself and Angel up, and no one else!  Love it!

Ok, that was......FRIEKIN AWESOME!! What a great story so far! I have to say, "It appears she believes we would all be better off forgetting the last three years" was funny as hell! I laughed for a while over that one! I am very interested in where you will be taking this story, and can't wait for more updates!
I try to update daily

What a terrific story! Did Angelus relinquish the claim on Buffy yet? WTF can they do about Willow? More story please.
The next few chaps will answer those questions

Great idea making the girl he killed an uncalled slayer. It shows the major differences between Spike and Angel . Angel did what he did to a essentially normal girl and Spike took on a full Slayer in a fair fight.

Anya's attitude towards magic is the exact opposite of Willow's and much smarter.

William's way of getting Anya to tone down the sex talk is much better than Xander's insensitive shushing.

They're gonna have a hard time getting Angel to believe what happened in the last three years. And an even harder time getting him to remove a claim that he doesn't remember making or that he might not admit to if he did remember.

Angel might be easier to deal with than you would think!

So far, i am really liking the story. It is interesting, orginal, and it really takes a closer look at the charecters. The idea of how vampires become, calling otu Willow, calling out Angel (the idiot) and Anya finally getting her due is so good. That's why I love your stories: They loo deeper into the charecters and don't pull punches.

And the idea of how to help Anya not talk aobut sex too much...brillant.
Thank you...you just made my day.

great chapter...update soon!
Thank you and I will

First of all, love the glimpses you give us of the inner dialogue that going on between William and Spike. They're just so - cute. Secondly, Willow strikes again - just knew she was gonna do something - right or wrong. Can't wait to see what effect Willow's latest spell is going to have on recent developments - mainly Angel's arrival on the scene. Update soon, please!
I will, and thank you for your continued support
Robyn07/05/2006 09:28 pm
I loved how sweet William was in explaining to Anya why they others are uncomfortable with her frankness. I really enjoy all the information they are getting about Spike thru William, between him and Anya Buffy and Giles are really learning something. Angel not remembering what’s been going on is going to be interesting.
Thank you

You've taken this story in so many directions! There are a lot of original ideas in here; I especially like the contributions Anya is making.

Can't wait for the next installment!
Thank you

Stupid stupid Willow and haha at Angel
Yes
Richard07/05/2006 09:20 pm
You're just chock full of good ideas. Like the gypsies not being complete lunatics. Though the 'special girl' could have been a witch, a seer, an avatar of a goddesss or something else special. And Practical Anya? Love her!

The only thing I'm not sure of is William potentially loving Buffy still. It would be far more interesting for him to definitely not love her. Consider just the angst potential in that turn of the screw.
This story is already completed. Additional plot ideas are not required...thank you.
Isabel07/05/2006 08:42 pm
Ah Willow Willow Willow... What are we going to do with you, girl? ::shakes head:: She can be so annoying with her obsession with magic. The girl does need to learn control, but I don't think she can. Should be fun to see Angel not remembering the last three years though. Thinking him and Buffy are still together. He's in for the shock of his life. Serves him right.. Arogant bastard lol Great chapter. I love that Anya knows so much. Makes so much sense since she lived in a world of demon and magic for a thousand years. About time someone realizes that.
Willow does have a lesson to learn!
kim07/05/2006 08:05 pm
She took away 3 years? Oh, gee, that's smart...seems that Willow probably messed up a spell again. I'm sure she meant 3 days, or something. Even Willow would know that erasing 3 years would make her life way too difficult, since she wouldn't know anything about college, etc. And actually, 3 calender years back from this point in 1999 puts them at fall of '96, and Willow wouldn't know Buffy, yet. Buffy didn't come to Sunnydale until Spring. To go back to just before Buffy died at the hands of the Master? What was Willow thinking of?

This could actually be advantageous when dealing with Angel, though. They could leave him that way and fill him in with memories they want him to have, instead, and send him on his way back to Cordy and Doyle. Eh...that'd be too difficult, too. They could leave Willow this way, though, and re-educate her. Make sure she doesn't take the same path? Let her be college girl without all the magic attempts in mind....

William's point for Anya was well-said...she needed human things explained in a way she could relate to again.

And finally, the blinkers are off Buffy...
Anya never had a chance in the show...I'm trying to give it to her here.
letitia07/05/2006 07:50 pm
I just love William/Spike in this. Buffy is finally opening her eyes. And Anya is just the bomb... Hope they can figure all of this out and stop Willow before she really hurts someone.
Thank you so much for your kind words.
