About time! Yay! (I'm not impatient with you, just them.) Now, of course, I have no idea how they'll complete the claim without the Slayer rising up to dispute. After all, it's not like they can do it with Dawn in the room. Ew.

| Dawn's a whole lot smarter then Buffy's demon gives her credit for. I like that Buffy didn't choose her friends and that she realized the problems they represented for her, I also like that she did consider Anya and wants her there to help. Glad that they are on the right track for stopping the demon, looking forward to how they figure out how to make it happen. |

| Awesome chapter. Dawn is one sharp little key. No wonder the demon hates her so much. Soooo, is Spike gonna get a chance to return the claim or something gonna happen to stop them from carrying out their plan? Are they gonna let Angel know everything when they call him? Can't wait to see what happens next. |

| Well that was on way to find out a way to get the better of Buffy's demon. Glad that Dawn still stuck near the door. Love the nice family unit they have. Love how they wanted to include Anya as well. |

| the demon didn't claim him, just buffy...the demon wasn't strong enough to act on its own then...but it wants to finish the dominance ritual that buffy started since it feels like they're the same person, but it cant since spike is powerless to resist b/c of the one-sided claim....so spike's thinking, even the odds up by making the claim even, so he can actually fight back, and then finish the dominance ritual like the demon wants...except he plans on winning hehe ... that clearer? |

| So Buffy's willing, but now the question is how to get her to submit, because I don't forsee the demon just holding still for this. And if Dawn has to be in physical contact for Buffy to stay in control...can you say awkward? Can't wait for more. |

Ah...AtS hooked me before BTVS did, even though I started watching both at the same time.
It's going to be hard to let Buffy give the right answer to the claim, with the Demon fighting against it so much. If the claim will have enough weight without sex, then Dawn can be there at the same time to hold Buffy's hand. Otherwise, this isn't going to be easy.
Also, finishing the dominance ritual - Spike's going to have the fight of his life, if the claim doesn't keep Buffy in control. The Demon is going to be fighting for its very survival, and she's not going to put out anything but her best. He's going to have to be in perfect shape.
Will Buffy say the submissive words for the ritual just to get rid of the Demon's hold, right after they do the claim? Thei isn't going to be easy on *her*, even for this particular cause. |
