I'm glad you like it. Tara is one of my own favourites, which is why I had to make sure that my S6 didn't end the same way as canon... and there'll be more World Cup action as the series goes on. One English fan even tried to convince me that since it an alternatate universe I could rewrite it so that England came away with the cup... to which i pointed out that given my loyalties, I'd have been far more likely to rewrite history so that Scotland qualified for the tournament. |

Perfect Tara stuff....I love her growing confidence. She and Wes will make a good research team.
A bit of bitterness there, in the mention of Giles not coming out for two months just for the wedding. Buffy would love to be that important to him, and he just doesn't get it.

Tara is such a wonderful character and she soooo deserved better than she got in canon.
Yep, Buffy would love to think that Giles would come here that early just for her, but she's not that naive.
And since I worked out dates, it seemed we couldn't have multiple Englishmen in one place without the football coming up. There's a lot more to follow on that subject once we hit the period where the various matches were being played. |
