leave it to Angel to push and push and push until he takes it too far. He definitely didn't get the answer that he wanted out of it. Excellent claiming. I know that some would love the ritualistic type way (which I know you touch on in the next chapter), but this kind of a claiming to start with was a way to show Angel and all demons how serious she was. That she wasn't going to let anyone stand in the way of having the one she loved. It was the necessary link to get through to Angel that she was no longer his.
