Man Willow truly is delusional. She is all can't they understand my pain ... then in the next sentence she is bitter and saying Buffy should just get over Angel already. What a hypocrite. You really do paint her for what her true form was. They tried to gloss is over on the show as her just Oppss and all that, but look where it led. You have this spot on for Willow's character and attitude.
I would have loved to have seen the look on Angel's face when William/Spike did not respond to his "Sire's" voice. To be defied so openly would Angelus and Angel into quite a snit. Loved that part.
The Buffy/Anya bonding moment was precious.
I also liked seeing the side of Spike/William where he tells Giles that he tried to hide all evidence to his true family. See, that makes sense to me. Why? Because the Council's books on Spike were all hideously wrong. They had him as a ruffian and brute from birth. It was the total opposite of what WIlliam really was. It always made me wonder if the Council was just stupid, or did Spike lead them astray on purpose.

| Good that Buffy sees clear now. And talked to Anya that she don't have to take the emotional abuse, that she is part of the team. And binding Willow's witchcraft? That would be a good thing. Now they have to help William. |

| I loved Buffy's little speech to Anya about Xander and her friendship, letting Anya know that she deserved better and was important as an individual was something that I wish had happened on the show. I love how your fics help correct these things. I feel bad for Buffy but am glad that she got to really see Willow, Xander, and Angle's thoughts. Doing so will allow her to reevaluate her relationships with them and help her decide how and how much she might want them to continue to be apart of her life. I am really looking forward to how you make use of what Buffy has learned. |

| Not jumping to conclusions here. Just... How do you call that again? Oh yeah, wishful thinking lol =) Unfortunately, I don't think Buffy could turn her back on her friends, at least not definitively. :::sighs::: But life would be sooo much easier for her if she did. Anyway, we'll see where the story goes because I have no idea. Which is a good thing because it makes it more fun to read. But wherever you'll take it, I know for a fact I will like it. |

| This chapter really showed how thickheaded Willow is, I can't wait to find out if she gets her powers binded. All the threats against William are really worrying me, I hope Anya is able a to find a way to help him. I liked the way Buffy reaffirmed her friendship with Anya. Wonderful update! |

| Great work! I'm glad Giles put Willow in her place; she needed it! All those memories for Buffy to live through were gut-wrenching! Now things can start to get better (I hope!). |

| Thanks for the lovely update. Willow just doesn't get it. *Sigh* Buffy needed to know the truth about her "friends", but I felt so sorry for her disillusionment. Looking forward to learning more about Giles' family connection to William. Hope to see a new chapter soon. |

| Definately an interesting chapter. I am with Anya...try your best shot, Willow. I wonder if when she does fail, if she will go super timid again. Personally, I get the feeling, from both the story and the show, that willow is putting on a similar act as Spike/William. heck, Willow is real close to acting jsut as William did when he first rose from the grave. |

| Another great chapter. I always wondered how Xander was the heart in the spell to defeat Adam lies and attitude towards Anya and Buffy, so I have to love a story that hows his flaws. |

As the darkness consumed each one it was hard to enjoy them the way that I did during the first three seasons. Wow, Anya can take out the chip? Cool! She really is powerful. OK I changed my mind, Willow can't be helped, you should have her powers binded, though from what I understood in season 7, she's not really that powerful herself but she is a good conductor of magic. the power required for the spells actually come from other items or beings, nd she can absorb more of that power than an average which. Not like Harry Potter where the people themselves have the magic within them.
So Giles is related to a Prat, Spike/William who is a Pratt and Xander and Angel who are both prats. And Wesley was a prat when on the show...so basically Jossverse is full or Prats. lol
But lets get back to finding the cure for the now humaniod Demon we have here. Wonder if the ship stops working now that his body functions are working too...surely the chip was designed to work on Vamps...but it would either not work on a Human brain or completely fry it.

Good point on the chip human/vampire compatibility question. This is one of the anomilies we find in Jossverse. For a human to be considered dead, all brain activity ceases. However, for a micro chip to work by causing electrical impulses to the pain centres of the brain, 1: the brain would need to be producing electricity, ie. working, and 2: the pain centres would only work as part of a funtioning or partially functioning brain. Either of these situations suggest life rather than death and this is incompatable with the concept of vampires as shown in the jossverse.  |

| I know this might make me look like a bad BTVS fan in some people's eyes, but I haven't liked the original Scoobies since season 3, prefering the adopted Scoobies instead. I always prefered Tara, Anya and Spike and despised the way Xander and Willow treated them. So seeing Xander, Willow and Angel apparently get their membership to the Scooby club revoked makes me WAY happy. Well, of course Tara isn't in this fic, but I'm loving the way you treat Spike and Anya. Good for you. I loved this chapter. Very satisfying. |
