| I like that Spike finally stood up for himself using the truth of everything that had gone on between them. I really loved how he told her that he would not be the monster that her and her friends claim him to be, that he was above that. It was really a beautiful statement and one that he had actually been practicing for some time. |

| I like your version of Seeing Red. It was not fluffy but it was nice having Spike stand up for himself. I think you could write more but Buffy should be honest with herself. The angst for both parties was there. Great job. |

I really enjoyed this story. I get so tired of the continual 'kick the Spike' that goes on in the show and in a lot of fics. I love all things Spuffy of course but its good to see Buffy get taken down a peg or two sometimes... especially if it helps her to realize the value of Spike and how unfair they've treated him.
Is there any more to this story? Great job so far. |
I completely agree. I get tired of 'kick the Spike' too. Unfortunately it is cannon. =(
I'll try to expand this story into a longer piece but it may take sometime. I've got three stories to finish and I refuse to leave them undone.

yes!! i'm sitting up and cheering for spike!! he told her what she needed to hear, and did what he needed to do..i love it! wish this was more than a one-shot, i'd love to see where it could go from here, with buffy having to earn back his love...think about it...  lol..great job  |

Yeah, it would have been nice for Spike to show some pride. She got away with so much because he allowed it. Not that I think it was right, either way. |
I agree as well. AS the saying goes, two wrongs do not make a right. Buffy should not have treated Spike the way she did and Spike should not have let her.
