| giles killed travers much too quickly and much too gently. great update to a fantastic tale. |
| But Spike is "out" at the moment. I haven't explained why Giles did what he did. Vengence is swift. If I waited for Spike to be set right before it was meted out, it might never come. And, it would only prove Travers's point. |

So what did the bastard set up?
They're going to have a really hard time reaching Spike before his physical pain is reduced. He'd have a hard time thinking straight with all his body went through, let alone his mind. |

Poor Spike, I feel so bad for him.  The Quentin flashback was really disturbing. Any man that knows he's facing death and is acting that cocky can't be of the good. Can't wait to find out what happens next. Great chapter as always. |
