I liked your cryptic riddle answer to Spike/William's healing. It made sense (Course made even more after the fact, but still LOL), and it flowed. Nicely written.
Gut wrenching last few chapters. Poor Spike and Slayer. Dang. |

| A poem huh? Too bad they didn't see at once what it means. Good to see that Giles isn't against Buffy being with Spike. But for now Spike is still ill. ~ Oh I loved that scene! Buffy telling Spike he is his what means claiming for the demon, then William getting fearful because he thinks he'll get rejected and that pisses of the Slayer in Buffy who gets VERY possessive :-D ~ But oh no.. this cliffhanger. It gives me almost a heart attack but I checked the end of the story out *g* And I can read on now :-D |

I'm getting a feeling that the Bringer of Death might actually be the Slayer. She is killing them. And since there is only one more chapter to read, there needs to be a quick solution to all this - all that I can think up is that the bringer is Buffy. With such a sad ending to this chapter it is clear that Buffy is going to shed some tears.

I know the cure: Buffy's tears. She's the natural enemy of the vampire. And healing will begin once the demon sleeps, as long as he gets enough tears. Cry, Buffy, cry!

I'm disapointed, we have one wizkid, one highly intelectual Watcher, one 1000 year old ex-demon and not even one of them were remotely close to cracking the poem. You need to read the last word in the poem...she, the bringer of death is a female, there is only one bringer of death that is always female, she is the assigned Vampire Slayer so for them she is th bringer of death, and she feels no remorse because as far as she is concerned they are all evil. really quite simple. So slayer crying over v\mp is cure, not Buffy but slayer right?
So um...does this mean Spike is cured now because Slayer crying over fading Vampire. Besides how the bloody hell are they going to find the female liliac demon, look at the crotch and decide one by one?
So they finally are open with their feelings, amazing how it's always over one or the others deathbed.
Well Jackers loving it.

| Their little trip down memory lane had me laughing and crying, but at the end when Spike told Buffy he loved her left me with tears. This chapter really had a nice emotional impact. I am really looking forward to the next update, thanks for such a great story. |

Interesting Chapter, and I have a theory about it: The Bringer of Death isn't the demon, but buffy's slayer side. The Bring of Death does what? Slay.
The healing begins when the fading one sleep refers to the nice little 'nap' the demon took...and considering that death and sleep are brother and sister in almost all myths and legends....
And it's rare for a slayer to love a vamp.
In other words, for Spike to be cure,Buffy must cry over his body. But not buffy Buffy. The SLayer demon that makes up part of her mustdo it. |

I think I know what's gonna happen, but I don't wanna spoil for everyone. Suffice it so say, I have a different interpretation on who the 'Bringer of Death' is!

| Okay, you managed to make me cry. That's not something that happens often, but in my defense, I have crappy things going on in my life right now. This chapter just seemed to push the tears out that I've been holding back. It was just his whole declaration and everything really. And I think I understand more about the title. You're doing an amazing job with this story, but I hope he can be saved. |

I can't believe you! How very evil to leave it like that. Last chapter, you had me tearing up at "William said his goodbye to his demon" and now the demon took its final breath. Very cruel. Thank goodness you update every day or I might just go crazy. I could just kiss your feet for updating so often lol. Yeah, that would be an embarrassing scene =)
I know I said it already, but I'll say it again--love Anya and how she's 'in charge' girl in this story. I also loved the scene between Spike and Buffy, and the Slayer claiming the demon. Great chapter. |

| and he's just got his cure, hasn't he? wow...this is breathtakingly beautiful...my heart has been in my throat since i read the cure at the beginning of the chapter and realized what it was...and while they struggle to research it out, buffy and spike have already found it, just spending his last moments with each other...how incredibly romantic and lovely...can't wait to read more |
