| I have been away on vacation for a week and apparently I missed a lot (as well as very little). Although i was lucky enough to be able to read 4 or 5 new chappies in a row, somehow it was not able to apease my appetite for this fic. I am waiting on the edge of my seat for the next update. |

| Your warning at the top of this chapter made my stomach do flip flops at what to expect. Eeep. I want Dawn to show up but, most of all, I want Spike to reach out through the claim and call to Buffy and then have Buffy's love be strong enough to protect her mate. | But he still has to yield to her out loud. That's why Buffy's never worked in the first place. He never said the right words. Spike - if you have to, bite her and drain her again once you're free. Dawn and Joyce's lives, as innocents, are more important than Buffy's, and she'd feel exactly that way. She'd rather die than allow them to be hurt or killed. If you have to drain her to the point of needing the ICU, then do it. |
